This was a very memorable experience. This was a very interesting, enjoyable and relaxing trip. Captain John was excellent and certainly very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information and history. Of course the scenery was so beautiful. It was incredible how low the water was in parts we saw a man standing in the water not even up to his knees hoping to catch the winning brown trout to claim his prize for the competition. The White Eagles were shy and didn’t appear. There were 54 0f us in our group Maureen & Friends each and everyone said how much they enjoyed the trip. It was my second time taking a group we went many years ago and it was so good that is why I brought people back again.

The boat cruise on Lough Leane aboard the MV Pride of the Lakes was a highlight, offering stunning views of Killarney’s landscapes, from the serene lake to the majestic Magillycuddy’s Reeks. The staff were brilliant—friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to make the experience memorable. Their live commentary added so much depth, pointing out hidden gems like the ruins of Innisfallen Abbey and even spotting some local wildlife. The vessel was comfortable and well-maintained, perfect for soaking in the scenery. Good experience An enjoyable hour or so onboard with good commentary. Good Covid precautions with only 50% occupancy, masks mandatory and a few windows open for ventilation and we could see boat being cleaned between.

Amazing Tour A lake tour is a must do in Killarney. We were torn between the open gap boats or getting a tour on one of the bigger enclosed boats. Ultimately it came down to how much time you want to spend and the two hour total for the carriage ride to the castle and the boat better fit our schedule. That being said once we were out on the water with the incredible views and our knowledgeable and hilarious captain we knew we made the right choice. It was an amazing time, absolutely gorgeous. And after seeing the people in the small open boats who had been there for over two hours seemed a bit much in retrospect. We had a great time. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough.

Great Lake tour! So many great views! The guide did a great job. It was an even better experience having the option to be inside or outside.

An enjoyable hour on the lake. We had a lovely trip on the lake. The young tour guide was knowledgeable, humorous and friendly. He let my son steer the boat for a little biy which was excellent.

Great trip with the kids Had the boat cruise included in our hotel package. Boat trip was lovely – the captain was very enjoyable and great to see social distancing measures on the boat.

Perfect Experience We had a perfect day for the cruise. I would reccomend sitting at the outside section for the best experience. The tour guide really made the experience, he provided information on the lake and surrounding areas and this really made the experience. Its also the perfect amount of time for the experience. Would love to do this again if in the area

Beautiful lake cruise with friendly guides We had a great trip on the lake cruise. The operators were very friendly and funny, and they pointed out neat things for us to look at along the way. It was also the perfect amount of time to see the lake. The overhead covering was great too, and it prevented us from getting soaked from rain or spray. I would definitely recommend this cruise.

Ideal Hen Party Activity I booked a private one-hour lake tour for a hen party on Saturday morning, and it was an incredible experience! Rose was fantastic to deal with during the planning stages, and the crew on the boat were exceptional on the day. They were very accommodating and friendly, even stepping in as our group photographers. At one point, they let the bride take over as captain, which was a nice touch!The boat was fully covered, so the rain didn’t affect our trip at all. We still managed to capture photos outside at the back of the boat with the beautiful views behind us. It was perfect being able to bring our own drinks and snacks too. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience at a very reasonable cost, I will definitely be recommending it to others!

Dedicated crew for a relaxing voyage Despite having only 4 passengers, these dedicated folks took us out for a lovely narrated cruise around the lake on a comfortable boat. We sat inside but went outside for photos. A relaxing hour!!

Killarney Combination Tour We did then Killarney Combination Tour that consists of Jaunting Car ride from Killarney to Ross castle and a boat cruise on the lake. Strongly recomend.

Amazing value, excellent boat trip The two guys that run the boat tour are very friendly and really know the lake. It’s very, very good value for money and very relaxing. It was a cool day but with all the windows closed I never felt cold. The scenery is beautiful.

Lovely way to spend an hour Very informative boat trip around the beautiful lakes the driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our son who is 2 loved being able to go out the back of the boat too, the weather of course was to our advantage thankfully ☀️

Mini break This is without doubt a fantastic tour. The boat captain was excellent. His knowledge of the area was brilliant. The cost of the trip was 12 Euro and with every cent. I would recommend this tour to everyone.
